There's a lot of stuff about experiencing Havana, but also an account of a
trip to Santa Clara, Sancti Spiritus, Cinfuegos, Trinidad, Remedios, Cayo
Santa Maria, Viņales. There's a picture of Fidel Castro actually giving an
open-air speech in one of the streets of Havana, and pictures of some of the
millions of crabs crossing the road to Cinfuegos.
Here's an excerpt: "Cuba surprised and disappointed me at the same time. I'd heard and read a lot about Cuba, more than about any of the other countries we visited.
I was surprised by the beauty of the old Havana buildings and somehow hoped they would never be restored because they would lose so much of their charm.
I was delighted to see street musicians at every corner in Havana, granted, to entertain the tourists, but still retaining their original Cuban flavour. Driving the Cuban countryside and even in Havana is pleasant, because there isn't much traffic. The main roads are usually in quite good condition. All in all, we didn't find any great natural sights in Cuba compared to the rest of our journey: The main attractions of Cuba are it's people and where and how they live their lives."
